About Us

We're Vardhan and Siddharth—two students at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad, brought together by Ultimate Frisbee and a shared love for building things.
Vardhan chases what excites him—startups, research, and deep conversations. When he's not knee-deep in projects, he's running, swimming, or leveling up at squash. He's a dog person, a softie fan, and believes learning happens best by doing.
Siddharth has always been drawn to sports—squash, frisbee, cricket, pickleball—you name it. Leading the Ultimate Frisbee team on campus was an unexpected but rewarding experience. It's also how he met Vardhan. When Vardhan came up with the idea for Slowcialize, it instantly clicked. It was one of those ideas that felt too good to ignore, and Siddharth knew he had to be a part of it.
We built Slowcialize because, let's be real—social media sucks at real connection. It's all about reacting, flexing, and doom-scrolling. But when was the last time you actually checked in on your people? Like, for real checked in—not just liking their post and calling it a day?
We got tired of the noise, the pressure, the endless scroll that feels like connection but isn't. So we built something different—something that lets you slow down, be real, and actually stay close to the people who matter.
No clout-chasing. No algorithm games. Just real conversations. Slowcialize isn't here to replace social media—it's here to fix what's broken.
We built this for us, for you, for the people who actually matter. Because connection isn't about constant updates—it's about being present. The best conversations, ideas, and relationships take time. They grow in the quiet moments, in the thoughtful check-ins, in the spaces where we choose to show up for each other.
That's what we're here to create.
